Namoos Yousufzay

Namoos is the mechanical lead. Namoos is the Mech guy of the team. Having spent majority of his internships in Mechanical design position, he has considerable experience designing in SolidWorks and machine shop. Namoos enjoys watching and playing cricket just a little too much.

Kapilan Satkunanathan

Kapilan is the co-lead for software. Kapilan is a robotics enthusiast who spends his spare times at various design teams and hackathons. Kapilan has acquired extensive robotics and controls experience through his internships and is adept at localization algorithms, ROS and various programming languages. Kapilan is an incredible fast learner and loves being part of team especially concerning robotics. For leisure activities he enjoys trading stocks, travelling, playing basketball and listening to music.

Hossam Gomaa

Hossam is the co-lead for software. Hossam is an enthusiastic multi-disciplinary engineer with a focus on embedded and control systems design. Hossam has a strong aptitude for leading teams and coming up with innovative designs and has applied his skills during various internships. A particularly interesting project Hossam has led is the creation of a lightweight augmented reality (AR) application from scratch to visualize SPECTRUM and other datasets in real time. Hossam is a musician, having played the violin since Grade 1, and picked up French horn, trumpet, and piano along the way.

Tarnpreet Bhatti Singh

Tarnpreet is the electrical lead. Tarnpreet is a drone wizard who's been building and flying drones for quite some time. Drones are a fun way to learn a lot about complex electrical systems and the interactions between different systems. The PID controller had too much D gain and now a motor is burnt is a very common occurrence in the quadcopter hobby. Tarnpreet is also a sensor expert having worked with 1D Lidar range finders, expensive 3D TOF Cameras and everything in between.
